In a booming industry, it is easy to get lost in the noise and the ever-growing number of software providers and people trying to take a bite of the market.

That doesn’t mean that you should be spending left and right. Instead, you can get a lot done with a few free tools. We have compiled a few options, as well as why you need them:

  1. AirReview. Unsure of how a certain guest will behave? On the verge of accepting them or not? AirReview will help you out! Just install this browser extension, and be able to see the review that the guest left for other properties before. It doesn’t always work, but a lot of times it does. And at a price point of $0, the cost benefit is infinite 🙂
  2. Dropbox (or other variant). Ok, not a Hosting Tool per se, BUT I use it on a daily basis. I have a folder with the pictures of the properties, another for my return spreadsheets, and another for my blog. I use it simultaneously on 3 devices (Desktop PC, Laptop and Phone) and always work in the proper version of whatever document I am working on.
  3. Whatsapp. Depending on how international your market is, Whatsapp may become a necessity. Most of my guests in Miami are international, and the vast majority end up Whatsapping me sooner or later. You can go ahead and download Whatsapp Business instead and gain automated messaging, message templates and much more to make your life easier and it even has a web version so you can type easier. I honestly much rather Whatsapp someone than texting them.
